The Little River Mountain Cabin Our Appalachian Foothills Mountain Cabin provides an affordable vacation for the entire family. It overlooks Little River Canyon and is one mile from the Desoto State Park Ranger Station, in the mountains near charming Mentone, Alabama. About 45 minutes from Chattanooga TN and about 1.5 hours from Huntsville AL. This house has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. It has a deck overlooking the river, with a gas grill. The house is furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked (bring your own food and drink). The house sleeps 8: bedroom 1 has a queen and a twin bed; bedroom 2 has two twins and a bunk bed (full on bottom/twin on top). There is also a full size futon in the den. Close to great hiking, swimming, and kayaking (kayak available soon). House has a flat screen TV with DVD player and many DVDs No cable or internet service at this time. Also, this is a house in the woods. There may occasionally be bugs or critters, and the place may get dusty, just as every house does. The house and linens will be thoroughly cleaned between visitors, and if you see a problem during your stay just let us know and we'll fix it. Specifics
